Introduction to Alt Text Descriptions

Inclusive Publishing Partner, Fondazione LIA, are presenting a training course for professionals coordinated by the Italian Publishers Association (AIE) in order to provide an introduction to writing alt text descriptions.  Eliza Molinari will discuss the general rules for writing effective alternative descriptions that comply with the requirements of international guidelines. Specifically, this course will include:

• the different types of alternative description;
•   the classification of images
•   the different types of images based on their function
