Building Bridges: Ebooks and Accessibility

MediaLibraryOnLine in collaboration with the LIA Foundation has planned a day focusing on various aspects of accessibility.With the the European Accessibility Act coming into force from June 2025, greater accessibility is required, not only of editorial content but of the entire digital ecosystem. Libraries, as well as the school system, have for some time included among their missions a greater inclusiveness of all categories of users and greater accessibility of editorial content, the reading ecosystem and all services, not only related to the use of the contents. The role of these institutions is therefore fundamental in promoting a culture of inclusiveness and accessibility of all the services offered.
