London Book Fair 2025

March 11, 2025 - March 13, 2025

The London Book Fair always hosts a number of events of interest to our inclusive publishing audience. Of particular interest this year:

Fondazione LIA together with the Italian Publishers Association have organised featuring Chris Saynor from EDItEUR and Gregorio Pellegrino from LIA. The European Accessibility Act requires that every ebook must be accompanied by information describing its accessibility features so that everyone can determine if the content meets their needs. This course will provide a comprehensive overview of how to distribute and effectively display accessibility metadata throughout the digital publishing supply chain. The course is based on the latest Accessibility Metadata Display Guide for Digital Publications 2.0, co-edited by the two presenters. Whether you’re new to metadata or an experienced professional, this course will help you understand the importance of accessibility metadata for your products and provide practical guidance for implementation, in alignment with European Accessibility Act requirements.
