Publishing Community Meeting

Publishers gathered in Lisbon, Portugal during the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) largest annual event, TPAC 2016 (Technical Plenary / Advisory Committee week).

The agenda included discussions about publications on the Web, print on demand and other broader use cases for Open Web Platform technologies.

Also included were updates and future ideas for the evolution of EPUB 3 and related specifications such as the EPUB for Education profile. George Kerscher was the moderator and Charles LaPierre a panelist for a session entitled “Accessibility: Electronic Documents and Web Convergence” at this year’s TPAC conference.
